特攻の生き残りとドレクスラーの生き残りが対面した件

　沖縄戦で特攻機にやられたドレクスラーの生存者と神風の生存者が東京で対面したそうで．．．

　初めて知ったんだけど、アメリカ側では、特攻機の乗組員は機体に鎖で繋がれているとかジャンキーにされてるとかって話になってたんだそうだ。

　アメリカ側の発言として

"My dream has come true,"
"When I go back I can live in peace for the rest of my life."
"I have no hard feelings for anyone anymore,"
"I am convinced now that it was an act of patriotism on their part. They were fighting for their families just as we were."

なんてのが引用されており、日本側の発言としては

"We already knew that Japan would lose," he said of March 1945, when he completed his training.
"All we could do was carry out our orders, and protect our families and our country."

　まあ要するにだ、相互理解が出来た、こういうハッピーエンドなんだが、アメ公もさることながら、我々自身も実際には合理化できてないのかも知れんよなっと思うのは、Muslimのsuicide bomberの記事に触れた時のあの咄嗟の否応のない嫌悪なんだな。
実際あれをBaka-bombと思わない人は少なかろ？
