北京オリンピックボイコット、Mia Farrow

　僕はそれをする気はないんだけど、Mia Farrow達はそれをどうも本気でやっていて、先般も書いたようにスピルバーグに圧力を掛け、彼から温家宝にスーダン政策を改めるよう書簡を送らせてる。
そしてFAZに拠れば、彼女たちは、中国のスーダン政府支援に抗議する聖火リレーを8月9日にスタートさせたそうです。

　再度書いておきますが、僕は前回の彼女の発言にしろこういうやり方にしろ好きではありません。

* WHAT IS HER MISSION:
-- The Olympic Dream for Darfur Campaign, spearheaded by Farrow, will stage an Olympic torch relay through historic genocide sites. They will try to include Darfur. It will also go to Kigali in Rwanda, Yerevan in Armenia, Sarajevo in Bosnia, Berlin in Germany, Phnom Penh in Cambodia and finally in December to Hong Kong.
-- The goal of the New York-based movement is to get Beijing, Sudan's main oil customer and arms supplier, to make the Khartoum government not block the deployment of a new United Nations and African Union peacekeeping force. The Torch Relay is to galvanize people around the world to exert pressure on China to continue to use its influence to protect civilians.
-- On July 31, China did join in the U.N. Security Council vote which authorized for an initial period of 12 months up to 19,555 military personnel and 6,432 international police. It will absorb the 7,000 African Union troops currently in Darfur.
-- The campaign also says China must press publicly for Khartoum to keep its multiple commitments to disarm the Janjaweed militias and suspend all weapons transfers to Sudan.
-- The group will also team up with the umbrella Save Darfur Coalition in a parallel torch relay across the United States.

China hopes the Olympics will showcase its growing industrial and economic might, and campaigners trying to exert pressure on Beijing over alleged human rights abuses by it or its allies have seized on the Games as a publicity opportunity. Critics who accuse China of widespread human rights violations at home against groups such as outlawed Falun Gong spiritual group began a rival torch relay in Athens, on Friday, the same day Farrow lit the Darfur torch in Chad. Organizers requested details of the controversial ceremony in Chad be published only after they had left for Rwanda, where an estimated 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were slaughtered in a 1994 genocide. "The Olympic torch travels the world before the games to represent peace and brotherhood. We are doing this torch ... to also represent peace and brotherhood for the people of Darfur," Jill Savitt, of Organizers Dream for Darfur, told reporters. Ruth Messinger, president of the American Jewish World Service, and Ira Newble, an NBA basketball player with the Cleveland Cavaliers, also took part in last week's ceremony. Eastern Chad is home to 230,000 Darfuri refugees as well as 170,000 more Chadian civilians forced from their homes by inter-ethnic attacks similar to those which have plagued neighboring Darfur. The Dream for Darfur torch is due to continue to visit genocide sites in Rwanda, Armenia, Bosnia, Germany and Cambodia as well as touring nearly two dozen cities across the United States ahead of next year's Olympics.

彼女たちの背後にいるのは誰かというわかりきった詮索は止すとして、連動しながら動いてる、そしてかなり周到なんですが、彼女のサイトに「GENOCIDE OLYMPICS」というページがあって、北京オリンピックの公式スポンサーであるとか協力者への圧力を呼びかけているので紹介しておきます。

　そして興味がある方はご覧になればいいのですが、彼女のサイトには「PHOTOS 」というページがあり、そこには多くの写真があります。

　そんな中で目を引くのは、20～30人のJanjaweedに輪姦されたあとで顔をタバコの火で焼かれた女性、やはり強姦されたあとに家畜のように焼き印を押された女性、村を襲われて自分の家を焼かれた挙げ句に、燃えさかる家の中に投げ込まれて火傷を負った女性、目をナイフでえぐり取られた男性、こんな写真ですね。

　ここにあるのは戦争ではないんだろうし憎しみですらなく、ただジェノサイドあるのみ、それもやっている側のJanjaweedは楽しんですらいるような気がします。

　さて肝心要のダルフールですが、中国の支援を止めても解決はしない、そういうことだと思います。

　中国の譲歩の結果として最近安保理決議を得てAU中心の監視部隊が増派はされましたが、ダルフールにいるスーダンの難民達（農耕民族）の本来の所有に属する耕作地にはチャドの難民（アラブ系）が入植しちゃってるんですね。
その数は3万人とかいわれており、それを強力に支援したのはスーダン政府とJanjaweedです。

　ダルフールにいるスーダン難民が20万とも30万とも言われるわけですが、アフリカ系農耕民族をそこに追い出して空いた耕地にアラブ系を入植させること、アフリカ系部族の婦女を強姦やりまくって混血児を量産し、部族のアイデンティティーを喪失させる、部族の女をやりたい放題強姦されるとその部族の男はどんどんダメになってく、これがアラブ系が牛耳るスーダン政府とJanjaweedの目的ですから、まだまだ進行するんでしょう。

　そのあとに仮に事態を沈静化させたところで今度は逆の現象が起きるわけで、これはもう第二のパレスチナでありコソボなわけですよ。

　ダルフールの状況見ててもつくづく思うのは、自分の属する集団が強くないと悲惨だちゅうことですね。
